Which AI does Underdog use?
A local model that runs on Apple silicon. He may not top the leaderboards, but he is 100% yours — nothing you write or receive is ever sent to an AI API.
Does my mail pass through your servers?
No. Mail syncs directly between your device and your email provider. There is no Underdog server in the middle, and we could not read your mail if we wanted to.
What stays on my device?
Everything. Messages are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, the key is protected by Apple Keychain, and meeting notes, transcripts, and AI processing never leave your Mac.
What does Underdog need to run?
A Mac with Apple silicon for the local AI. Companion apps for iPhone and iPad follow the Mac release.
